The One Powerful Tip to Get Excited About Your Life Every Day

Hi Reader

If you feel lost and especially frustrated that your life is not progressing the way you want it to, I have one powerful tip that will help you break free from that frustration, a way to wake up each morning with excitement and purpose. It’s something that has transformed my life, and I’m eager to share it with you.

It sounds simple and straightforward, but I tell you, it works like magic.

Start a project. Have a game plan. Stay in your lane. Enjoy the journey and relish in the person you are becoming.

Personally, I am always in the middle of one project or another. The mere thought and process of manifesting myself in the world through my work fills me with so much joy and a sense of belonging. When I make progress in my projects, no matter how small, it builds my confidence. I am a different person each day because I am advancing, just as my projects are.

I'm sure you must be thinking, "How do I know what projects to take on in my life?" I have the answer for you.

A project, by definition, often has a start date, an end date, and a goal. The project you choose should encompass all of these elements somewhat. To fuel your excitement, it should specifically enrich your life in all areas.

For me, I have broken down my life into the following areas, and I try to have projects and goals in each area at any given point in time. This helps ensure that I am advancing in the things that are important to me:

Career:
This is what we do for money. Some of us are stuck in jobs we hate, while others are fortunate enough to do something they love and get paid for it. Whether we like what we do or not, our careers keep the lights on, so we should strive to excel or, preferably, change our career path. Taking a certification or learning something new in my field each year has made me more valuable and has opened countless doors for me.

Relationships:
One of people's greatest regrets in life is often not spending enough time with loved ones. In this area, you could plan a trip, organize regular dinners, or arrange get-togethers with important people in your life.

Health:
Our bodies are our most valuable possession, yet we often only realize this once our health deteriorates. I always set health goals, managing all my health markers such as weight, managing my sugar and cholesterol levels, getting enough sleep, and exercising regularly. It's a challenging journey, but sticking to my plan brings immense rewards.

Finance:
A financial project could be saving for retirement, or anything else that is meaningful like a house, or a car. Watching your savings grow as you make sacrifices is incredibly rewarding. For me, I am all about achieving long-term financial independence because it provides us with the freedom to control our time. And the ultimate goal is to get to a point in my life where I am never required to work.

Mindset:
Your resilience and ability to thrive in uncertain times depend on the strength of your mindset. Reading non-fiction books on inspiration, self-improvement, biographies, and psychology has expanded my mindset and made me more resilient.

Skills:
Building skills in art, music, photography, programming, and other fields allows you to manifest yourself in the world and carve out your niche. Continuously learning new skills keeps me excited and adaptable in any situation.

Purpose Project:
Start a project that helps you achieve self-actualization. For me, this blog/newsletter, "Racing for Bliss," is my 'purpose' project. My goal is to reach as many people as possible and inspire them to live successful and fulfilled lives. Your purpose project could involve building a community or advocating for a cause dear to your heart.

Final Thoughts:

Pick one project and let it fill your days with excitement. Let it fuel you to own your space in the world, and trust me, you will be better for it.

My Journey

Speaking of starting a project, I have been so pumped to learn about digital marketing and all its components. I have purchased a few courses to help me learn how to create content, engage with subscribers, run ads, start a YouTube channel, and a host of other items.
I tell you, a lot of work goes into all the social media content you see online and it is so impressive.
Maybe I will get to share some of my learnings with you in a future letter.

Also, I just picked up the highly acclaimed book 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho. I am looking forward to getting started and further fulfilling my commitment to advancing my mindset.

Hi Reader On today's newsletter, I will write about the grey-old monster in our way—FEAR. I could write a million newsletters about fear—how it diminishes us and how we can eliminate it from our lives. I am passionate about this topic because living a fear-free life is Happiness 101. Fear is dangerous. Living in fear is like being trapped in a prison, while living without fear allows you to pursue your dreams, have fewer regrets, and ultimately live the life of your dreams.
